yes, be jealous of me all you Afterschool fans out there=PHELLO!! im here to blog about SUNDOWN FESTIVAL 2010
Tickets are sponsored by OCBC and ANIMAX as im part of the ANIMAX Youth Committee
and i must say the 2 nights have been crazy for me!!
I must admit, i have never been to a live concert or performance before
and ive always yearned to get a chance.
On saturday my wish was finally granted><
1st night (Friday): Meet and greet session
2nd night(Saturday): Sundown festival 2010
Firstly, i must admit that im quite a big fan of after school and i got to take a picture with them up close during the meet the fans session.OMG! u cannot imagine how happy i am that night to get this once in a lifetime experience. i even have the chance to get the photo that i took with them to be printed on an exclusive debit card by OCBC where you can customize your own card>< im getiing so excited just talking about this
Saturday was even amazing, The AYC members and myself were so excited about the whole performance that we queued all the way for around 1 to 8 clock which is the actual start of the performances. And i definitely must say that its worth the wait, as we managed to get o the front of the stage and everything was just right before our eyes the line up of the performances were awesome!!
FIrstly we were greeted by the upbeat music presented by suG a popular japanese band, followed by Fcuz and After school from Korea and lastly to end with a big bang, LMC ended the whole celebration.Theres nothing much i can complain about. Theres a good crowd, theres a good performance and theres definitely good company as well. Went with my other AYC mates and we had alot of fun. I wish there were more of such events where asian bands are being invited=/ most people know about western bands but they are not exposed to asian bands as well, which i think produce music standards that are comparable to western bands Its time to support the asian music scene!!!! because theres so much talent but they are never spotted.
Alright, Next up is singfest 2010 which ill be going on wed and thurs Cant wait for it to come.>< Tickets are also sponsored by ANIMAX as well. I would really like to thank ANIMAX for giving me the chance to experience what ive never experienced and im really proud to be an AYC member of animax=D I would like to express my Thanks to OCBC as well who sponsored our tickets to SUndown festival and making everything possible=DALright will be back with more photos of Sundown festival. really hope that ill get to go to such an unforgettable event again Next Post will be about the SINGFEST 2010.
