havent been blogging for quite awhile and i doubt theres anyone reading this blog anymore. felt like blogging tonight cos recently theres been a few things that have been troubling me and hopefully can use this as a vent.

its been about 3 months since we've not talked to each other. if im not wrong. time really flies without you even knowing it. ive been serving the army for about 2 months and i really wish i wasnt here. in this bunk typing all these things. trainings keep me busy everyday but when night falls, i just feel so alone.

everyone seem to be busy with their own stuff and dont really have time to meet up. half of the cancer group is in the army, the rest have entered their career. i really miss school alot, when we could just sit around relax, lepak at the taxi stand, do stupid stuff together, sing stupid songs but now its just a part of my memory, fond memories. i feel like crying right now but i have to be strong and carry on with my life.

just saw ur happy photos with him the other day, i should be happy for u all but i do not know why im feeling otherwise now. i was the one who let you go the other time, i was the selfish one who did not want to be tied down by anything when i enter army. even though i hate to say this but i really wish u all the best as i know that he can definitely treat u better and make u better than i was with you last time. whats on my mind now? nothing. im just too tired to think of anything.

wanna thank you for all the beautiful memories that uve created for me, letting know that i was once loved by someone before and my mistake not to cherish you enough. i guess if i had the chance to turn back time, im sure ill do the same thing. maybe this is the life that both of us to lead, may all the dreams that i rejected and denied you in the past come true. sincere and true from my heart.

however, i really wanna see you for one last time and say that im sorry for what i have done and being such a selfish person to make all the decisions. i wish that we werent so different, then the stupid club would have lasted forever.sorry for giving u hopes and promises that were never met. the dream of living in japan together, open a cafe and lead a quiet life. sorry for not being there for you when u needed me and flaring up at you when i had a bad day. hmm... im lost for words. too much to say, too much for me to think about.

Bryan showed me a photo taken on ur birthday, really wished i was there to wish you happy birthday. but guess i dont have the chance to do so anymore.

next week, ill be going for my field camp, hopefully get into OCS and get a rank of an officer. i have let many people down before. right now, i think the least i can do is to make my parents happy. havent done much for them and hopefully if i can get into OCS i will finally do them proud for once.

Im glad ure doing well now, and ill wish you all the best for ur future. i believe that one day ur dreams will all come true and that will be the day u will finally be happy, ur prince charming, your fame and being successful. ill live my life well too.

Im here to blog about an indoor concert that i went last sunday.
Mikuni Shimokawa!!! yes thats her, go check her out on youtube, myspace or whatever space u all use.Becuase she D@mn amazing i swear.
For all you anime lovers out there, ull definitely have a feast for your ears.
At first i did not know who is she, but when she sang, she really got me respect.
She a petite woman with an amazing voice.
And one thing i had to salute her about is that she sang for 2 hours nonstop@.@

As i promised im here to blog about SINGFEST 2010 and share with u a couple of photos as well.
Anyway, The three days of SINGFEST was one of the BEST nights i ever had. ANd im not kidding.

Thanks to ANIMAX for sponsoring the tickets to the AYC crew. And everyone please support ANIMAX if you are a fan of naruto or bleach or whatever great anime you are watching. Beacuse they have it all there.
And congrats to all the lucky ones out there who managed to go for it as well!!

Was there with my girlfriend, madelyn and the rest of the AYC members
Before i start, i would like to apologise for having such little photos
Cos my camera was spoilt on the day itself=/
Therefore i stole a couple of pictures from mad's camera. (hope you guys dun mind)

Day 1:
Didnt upload any photos but still had a lot of fun, while WORKING.
Yes thats right, i was working at Harry's bar for day 1, had a great time enjoying songs by tokio hotel and th other great bands that came while pumping up the beers.

Day 2:
Went down to Fort Canning Park after my FYP project which wasnt too successful=/
Managed to secure a pretty good spot which had a clear view of the stage.
hmm... What should i say about day 2??

I have to admit that i wasnt familiar with the artistes that performed, for example Jully Black and Diane Birch (omg shes really great check, her out on youtube) However, there are some that went who you may be more familiar with
"if You are what you say you are, A superstar, then have no fear..."
LUPE FIASCO, yes ure right, he was there for the concert. His rapping skills were really amazing, my hats off for him.

and not forgetting the arch enemy of taylor swift,
KANYE WEST.
honestly i dont really like him much, the only song that i listen to is Stronger.
But his LIVE performance changed the whole perception that i had of him, he was really STRONGER.

Another great artiste i would like to mention would be Diane Birch, she reminds me a little of taylor swift. Shes really amazing, i would describe her as an indie singer, she can move from a rock song to a sentimental song and has a really great voice. Its really one artiste worth mentioning. If i have time shall post her video here someday.

Day 3:
Day 3 was the best night out of all the 3 days i spent in singfest. Why??
Cos 3 of my favourite bands were performing that night!!! OMG!!><

2: 30 seconds to mars
3: The Smashing pumpkins

The feeling of having your favourite bands up there performing for you live on stage, that experience is close to fainting. You definitely cannot imagine the atmosphere there, it was fantastic, The sound of greatness pumping out from the speakers and the audiences all going crazy and head banging. Everyone was from a big family on that day itself.

Alright, This would be the end of my post. I must say i really had lots of fun during the 3 days of SINGFEST 2010 and thanks once again to ANIMAX who sponsored me the tickets. Enjoy the photos and have a good day=D CiaosX.X

HELLO!! im here to blog about SUNDOWN FESTIVAL 2010
Tickets are sponsored by OCBC and ANIMAX as im part of the ANIMAX Youth Committee
and i must say the 2 nights have been crazy for me!!
I must admit, i have never been to a live concert or performance before
and ive always yearned to get a chance.
On saturday my wish was finally granted><
1st night (Friday): Meet and greet session
2nd night(Saturday): Sundown festival 2010

Firstly, i must admit that im quite a big fan of after school and i got to take a picture with them up close during the meet the fans session.OMG! u cannot imagine how happy i am that night to get this once in a lifetime experience. i even have the chance to get the photo that i took with them to be printed on an exclusive debit card by OCBC where you can customize your own card>< im getiing so excited just talking about this

Saturday was even amazing, The AYC members and myself were so excited about the whole performance that we queued all the way for around 1 to 8 clock which is the actual start of the performances. And i definitely must say that its worth the wait, as we managed to get o the front of the stage and everything was just right before our eyes the line up of the performances were awesome!!

FIrstly we were greeted by the upbeat music presented by suG a popular japanese band, followed by Fcuz and After school from Korea and lastly to end with a big bang, LMC ended the whole celebration.Theres nothing much i can complain about. Theres a good crowd, theres a good performance and theres definitely good company as well. Went with my other AYC mates and we had alot of fun. I wish there were more of such events where asian bands are being invited=/ most people know about western bands but they are not exposed to asian bands as well, which i think produce music standards that are comparable to western bands Its time to support the asian music scene!!!! because theres so much talent but they are never spotted.

Alright, Next up is singfest 2010 which ill be going on wed and thurs Cant wait for it to come.>< Tickets are also sponsored by ANIMAX as well. I would really like to thank ANIMAX for giving me the chance to experience what ive never experienced and im really proud to be an AYC member of animax=D I would like to express my Thanks to OCBC as well who sponsored our tickets to SUndown festival and making everything possible=DALright will be back with more photos of Sundown festival. really hope that ill get to go to such an unforgettable event again Next Post will be about the SINGFEST 2010.

The title of this design would be : "who's there"
The design is supposed to portray people who are afraid to open themselves up to people.
Hiding things within themselves and afraid to share because people would laugh at them or tease them

Hello guys, tiring day, just got back from Comm 101
which is one of the events held by us.. (wasnt easy being an organiser)
For this event, team cancer came up with a board game concept which is to put live size tiles around the classroom for the participants to play on.
STayed up for a couple of nights just to finish up the tiling and the decor.
Out of all the tiles that we made i love the wild tile the most(below)
TADAH!
The module design illustration was indeed put to good use
For the tiles i chose colours that are neonish against a black background
so that it would attract people's attention and set a contrast between the words and the background as well=D
I also made use of spray paint to make the words look not too blockish but instead has an artistic feel to it.

hello people, if "you can see this clearly", this is my AD i did for nanyang optical
this project is actually CA2 for my design illustration course.
well, got back the marks for this design, wasnt too satisfied with it.
But through this project i learnt that the choice of colours, the positioning of words and the colour of the words play a very important part in an advertisment
well, i shall take this as a lesson learnt and learn from my mistake through this project.

So this is mydesign for SOBE soyamilk.
It may look really simple but its really alot of thought processes and hard work behind this piece of work. But oh well, finally its done=D

why do people prefer getting an ipod over a creative or sony erricson mp3?
From my perspective, i would think that apple's ipod's design would be the factor that differentiates itself from the normal mp3.
Its really amazing how the designer of the ipod can use the original idea of an mp3 but make it into a different shape and different way of engaging the users.

anyway.. made use of photoshopping skills that i learnt in Design and illustration
played with the filters and the auto colours
I want the shirt to create an effect that SPMT fighters are like tigers, that would never back down=D

Two days ago, attended Singapore design festival 2009 with my DI calss mates
well, of course i had fun
i dont think im very good with words
so ill let the pictures do the talking instead=D

CCC CHARACTER FESTIVAL:
Who says guys dont like cute stuff?
the answer is actually we do=D

There were many sections in this design fest,
this one is my favourite,Cartoon Characters

Ive always wanted to do anime drawing
but god is always unfair, i must say im not gifted with a good pair of hands=/
so i can only appreciate the designs
anyway, these are some of the cartoon characters which i found really cute:

Also from the same, showroom as well, we have:
Sun Wu Kong(damn cool=D)

The tree house below, is a 3d figure where u can not only see but touch
it some how reminds me of lego, which i used to play when i was young
building castles and stuff
just that this is so much more complicated and alot of thought process was put into it

Love this place, what makes it so special is that all the lights are turned off
In front of every artpiece there will be a torchlight dangling down from the top
and to get the real meaining ure supposed to use the torch to shine on the art piece,
every piece has a different meaning to it.

as u all know and for those who dont know, im taking DI as my elective

hmm... alot of my friends asked me why i chose DMC as my course
well, im too sure either, but what im sure now is i wanna go for the advertising line.

A question to ask: So many advertisements youve seen on newspapers, magazines, tv etc but which one actually managed to catch your attention, and out of those which caught your attention, how many can you actually remember?
advertising is never easy..

i was reading this reading this piece of material few hours ago
very geeky title: "How to win the battle of the buzz- Street Smart Advertising"
sounds cool yea?=D
Anyway, this is an article about how to make your advertisement stand out as compared to others.

A segment which is about being on target and on strategy caught my eye
Wonder if u guys still remember the dove advertisement where they had models of various sizes to advertise for them. That campaign was so effective that their sales and the company's brand image went up.

This makes me think,Sometimes when im given a class assignment to come up with an advertisement, ill get so stressed out as i can't think of a good idea and i'll start wondering how do these people come up with these ads, which can get so much attention. After reading the article i realised that in order to connect with audience and get their attention, you must say how they say and feel what they feel.

So when coming up with advertisements, you must put yourself in the consumers shoes,
think of what they would want to see and what they need.

Hope that next time when i come up with an advertisement, ill not just think of how to reach out to the audience and instead think of what the customers would want to see and what would make them feel attatched to the advertisement.

been a pretty long time since i posted...

so.... shall update on some of my recent events

Firstly, went for Mr and Miss SP to support jess and tim

felt a lil wierd tho, cos both of them are the judges,

its like watching singapore idol withouht having anbody in mind to support=/

so we literally cheered for all the contestants who took part=D

Next, celebrated sharon's birthday 2days ago

simple meal @mac before walking to nabins at duno what road

many probs when we reached that place:

1. Not enought seats

so we brought carpets and mats to sit on instead

2.there was a cat meowing at the roof

and it wasnt the normal "meow", its the super kelian meow

thought the cat was stuck at the roof

so climbed up to "save" it

found like cat food and water up there. stupid cat. enjoying life still meow=.=

just when we thought its time to start,
3.it started to rain.

so had to shift seats.

finally after 30 mins got to sit down and enjoy shishaing

lots of fun, cards, manv's invention lol

left at 1100pm to wawa's place

many many pots of shisha, with many fun people=D

to celebrate hazzy's birthday

ain and the rest of the cancer group was alr there

yet another day in school had passed
but today was much different from other days

MONDAY:
DMC 05 class chalet

Met up with yusuf, wah, dar, yh at bedok to do some bbq shopping
took a cab down to ecp chalet, pretty cheap(less than 5 dollars=D)
settled down at the chalet at arnd 3+ slacked around
while waiting for the rest of the people to come
ms kwa brought us to all the places in marine parade to find fried beehoon=.=

It's a pretty nice movie about how a geek manages to get together with a bimbo.
After the movie xueying left us, we went to have a simple dinner,

today was a really really really busy day
went to school at 12 clock in the afternoon to do reshooting
well, settled most of the shots,
most to most left with one or two scenes more=/
after that went back to woodlands to celebrate bro's bdae in advance
had a simple meal and went back home.
just when i needed rest,
i had to do my NW and all those crap... urgh...

Yesterday was supposed to meet up with ex riversidians to catch a movie

hmm... but in the end never watch as nt much people went

i must say it has been very long since we all had an outing together

i really miss those days=/

In general i mean i miss my sec sch life
